Dr. Ellen W. Miller, executive director of UIndy’s Center for Aging & Community, appeared recently on the Inside Indiana Business program for an interview series titled Workforce Wise, presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Miller said many businesses still are failing to plan for the aging and retirement of key employees, and she also shot down common misconceptions about the limitations of older workers. The TV interview corresponded with a story in the January-February issue of the Chamber’s BizVoice magazine.
In addition to its research and advocacy, CAC offers an online master’s degree and graduate certificate in gerontology, as well as an undergraduate certificate in aging studies.
