Dr. Ellen W. Miller, executive director of UIndy’s Center for Aging & Community, is a key source for a story appearing this month in various Indiana newspapers.
Writer Maureen Hayden, Statehouse bureau chief for CNHI Indiana newspapers, interviewed Miller about Indiana’s aging population for a series on recent Census findings.
“We need to reframe the issue,” Miller told her. “We need to see aging for its opportunities and not just its challenges.”
So far, the stories have appeared on the pages or websites of the Hendricks County Flyer, the Anderson Herald Bulletin, the Terre Haute Tribune Star, the Greensburg Daily News and the Indiana Economic Digest.
